In the Heart of the Desert
The sands stretch wide beneath the sun’s fierce eye,
In the heart of the desert, where few can sigh;
Nature’s own hand lays the canvas bare,
A vast, arid kingdom, with solitude rare.

The cacti stand tall, guardians of lore,
Witness to stories of days long before;
They reach for the heavens, their arms wide and free,
In an endless expression of tenacity.

And as day drifts to night, the stars come alive,
In the solitude’s arms, our spirits will thrive;
For in the barest of places, life’s strength we will find,
And the heart of the desert will echo our kind.
